What are the main benefits of the Quantum Alliance Program?

Quantum offers a host of services for all partners in the Alliance program. These include access to a secure portal for opportunity registration, sales tools and marketing resources, training programs including free online training, and access to the Quantum IQ™, the expansive Quantum knowledgebase. Partners also receive access to partner-only promotions as well as access to end user promotions that you can pass on to your customers. We also offer lead referral and incentive programs for sales and sales engineers at our partner accounts. Partners at the Gold and Platinum level also enjoy additional product discounts based on meeting the program requirements for each level.


Is there a fee to join the program?

No, there is no fee to join the Quantum Alliance Program


How can I move up to a higher tier in the program?

Each level within the program requires a joint commitment to achieve certifications, accreditation and revenue expectations along with participation in Quantum sponsored activities. At the highest level, Platinum partners participate in quarterly business reviews and ongoing sales training. Here is the full list of requirements for each level.


What type of support do I get as a Quantum Alliance partner?

As a Quantum Alliance partner, all partners have access to dedicated Quantum Alliance partner pre-sales representatives as well as access free to technical support with one of our sales engineers.

Gold and Platinum level partners also receive field level support.


Are the revenue requirements evaluated every quarter or every year?

The revenue requirement is based on a rolling 12 month calendar. However, quarterly reviews are conducted to ensure partners are on target for the annual goals that have been set. This allows Quantum to assist partners if additional support is needed to achieve the jointly developed goals.


What happens if I don't meet the revenue requirements in a given time period but I did in the previous time period?

Quantum conducts and annual business plan with all Platinum and Gold partners. During these reviews, each party takes responsibility for their own expectations. Quantum will, from time to time, lower a partner level but it is considered on a case-by-case basis.


How do I get access to demonstration product?

Quantum offers significant discounts on demonstration equipment for partners. Silver partners receive a 50% discount while Gold and Platinum partners received a 75% discount. To request this demonstration equipment, complete the online Demo Program order form.


Can I buy from Quantum directly or do I need to buy from a distributor?

Most Quantum partners buy through our authorized distributors. If special circumstances exist, Quantum will consider a direct purchasing arrangement with certain credit criteria requirements.


Do you have a deal registration program? Is there a discount with that program?

Yes, all partners in the Quantum Alliance Program have access to an opportunity registration program. Discounts are generally range from 25% - 35% off list on most products.


Do you have an MDF program?

At Quantum's discretion, partners have access to marketing development funds based on mutually agreed upon marketing plans. Partners can submit a request for funds and work toward a mutually agreed upon metric for claiming those funds.


What is required to be authorized to sell all the Quantum products?

Simply become a member of Quantum Alliance. Members of Quantum Alliance are authorized to sell our full product line.


How can I become authorized to support Quantum products?

In general, Quantum provides support for all Quantum products direct with the end user. Our partners can sell the full range of Quantum service offerings but are not required to provide service or support.


How do I access and use the tools as a Quantum Alliance partner?

In order to access the exclusive tools and resources for Quantum Alliance partners, you must complete an online registration request. Upon approval, you will be required to accept the Quantum Alliance Program agreement. Access this then granted with resources allocated based on your level in the program.


How do I know if my partner application has been accepted?

After submitting an online registration, you will receive a series of communications. The first communication is an acknowledgement that your application has been received. Upon approval, usually within 24 hours, you will receive a notification of acceptance along with the link to the portal where you will agree to the terms and conditions and then have full access to the resources within the portal.

How can I co-brand materials to give to my customers?

Quantum provides pre-designed email templates for partners. Partners can upload their own branding, Quantum will build the co-branded email for you. We will launch it for you if you provide a list to our bonded 3rd party provider or we will provide you the co-branded email to send out yourself.

In addition, Quantum provides access to ad copy, logos, artwork and examples of campaigns allowing you to build your own marketing collateral. Quantum must approve all cobranded materials that utilize the Quantum brands and logos prior to distribution to your customers.


What types of marketing support will I get as a Quantum Alliance partner?

In addition to the online marketing support resources, your channel manager will assist you in developing a joint marketing plan and will assist in execution where appropriate.


Do you offer a SPIF program for sales reps? Sales engineers?

We offer SPIFs for both sales reps and sales engineers for both in person meetings resulting in an approved deal registration and upon sale of the product.


Do you offer training on your products and solutions?

We offer training on specific products and solutions at both the sales rep and sales engineer level. These trainings are found under Quantum Xpert training.

Sales engineers who become certified using Quantum Xpert are then eligible to earn SPIFs for product sales as well as in person meetings.
